Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Pikeville, KY 41501 (Eastern Kentucky)

Facility: Level II Trauma Center, 340-bed hospital

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: September 22, 2025

Shift: 4x12 hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (except orientation/holidays)

Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100-$2250

Weekend/Holiday: As needed for on-call rotation

On-Call: 6-8 days per 6-week period

Employment Type: Travel Nursing, Contract

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Active KY or compact Registered Nurse license

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (all required upon submittal)

Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system

Ability to float to other units as needed

Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and resilience

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures

Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after cardiac procedures

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent cardiac cases

Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic electronic medical records

Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and best practices in cardiac care

Contribute to a positive, efficient, and supportive work environment
