Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements
Deliver radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately across adult and pediatric populations.
Operate Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon, and ARIA systems (version 15).
Perform imaging procedures including CBCT/kV/mV for positioning and verification.
Treat a variety of conditions including benign brain tumors, craniospinal cases, prostate cancer with fiducials/seeds, heterotopic bone, keloids, total body irradiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and pediatric cancers.
Manage head & neck (H&N) and CNS (brain/spine) primary treatment areas (required).
Conduct chart checks, handle emergency situations, and utilize crash carts and defibrillators as needed.
Work in both adult and pediatric outpatient and acute care settings.
No call, weekend, or floating requirements.
Expected weekly hours: 40; occasional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks.
Must be fully competent with TrueBeam, Halcyon, and ARIA; VisionRT/OSMS experience preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications:
2 years of Radiation Therapist experience (5 years preferred).
ARRT (R) and ARRT (T).
BLS.
Ohio state license.
Experience with TrueBeam, Halcyon, and ARIA systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching hospital experience.
ACLS .
Experience with internal treatment techniques including beam data acquisition .
DIBH experience and experience with head & neck cancers.
Background working with pediatric patients.
