Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various electronic devices and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, as well as proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all repairs meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
Duties
Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices to identify issues.
Perform repairs on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering techniques.
Fabricate components as needed to ensure proper functionality.
Use hand tools, ohmmeters, calipers, and other testing equipment effectively.
Work with logic controllers and surface mount technology (SMT) during repair processes.
Conduct electrical wiring tasks as required for device assembly or repair.
Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency.
Skills
Proficiency in soldering and fabricating electronic components.
Strong knowledge of PCB design and repair techniques.
Experience using hand tools, ohmmeters, calipers, and other relevant testing instruments.
Understanding of logic controllers and their applications in electronic devices.
Ability to perform electrical wiring tasks accurately and safely.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
