Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Financial Billing Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate project billing, maintaining financial compliance, and supporting healthy cash flow for the firm. You will work closely with design managers, consultants, and cross-regional teams to deliver timely and precise financial processes that align with our internal standards and country-specific regulations.
What You Will Do
Collaborate closely with design managers and consultants to consolidate all project information needed for billing.
Analyze project budget data to ensure project-compliant invoicing, fully aligned with scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, contract terms, and internal policies.
Provide support and follow-up on Accounts Receivable to maintain an up-to-date portfolio.
Ensure all active projects have the required documentation, properly signed and aligned with internal policies.
Align billing terms according to contract requirements.
Meet all established revenue cycle deadlines according to the financial calendar.
Participate in meetings to review billing metrics, Accounts Receivable, consultant Accounts Payable, and internal performance indicators.
Manage consultant allocations and expenses according to contract terms.
Learn and navigate the firm’s internal transactional and reporting systems.
Collaborate with teams within and outside the region to maintain billing standards aligned with country-specific regulations.
Understand and analyze internal policy requirements for each country where projects are generated.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), financial analysis, and compliance.
Strong understanding of project financial controls.
Solid knowledge of compliance standards in financial reporting and contract administration.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Experience working with multiple currencies, exchange rates, and tax implications.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of personalities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure.
Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
