What you’ll be doing
Guide day-to-day admin tasks, including submitting service requests, supporting IT needs, organising lockers, and helping new starters settle in
Keep key systems and databases up to date while producing weekly stats, risk reports, and accident summaries to support smooth operations
Pull information from Team Centre and use SAP to track NRG notifications, following up with stakeholders to keep tasks moving
Handle reactive facilities requests, making sure issues are logged, monitored, and resolved as quickly as possible
Spend time on the shopfloor updating boards with important safety and quality alerts so teams stay informed and engaged
Your skills and experiences
Essential:
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
SAP / Database administration and data entry
Facilities and service request processing
Desirable:
Business Administration qualification

The Essential Coatings Facility Team:
The Essential Coatings Facility Team is a proactive, hands-on group that keeps the facility running safely and efficiently. Working closely with internal stakeholders—including the Facility Delivery Manager, SHE and Quality, Engineering, Operations and Services—they handle service requests, manage IT needs, induct new starters and produces weekly stats, risk and accident reports, manages SAP notifications through NRG, and ensures actions are closed out promptly. With a regular presence on the shop floor, they respond quickly to reactive requests and keep safety and quality. You will have opportunities to engage with Stakeholders and develop your skills to build a lasting career with BAE Systems.
