THE VITAL CNC PROGRAMMER - MACHINIST ROLE YOU HAVE:
Working a 6:00 am – 4:30 pm schedule, you spend your days transforming raw materials into aerospace-ready components. You set up and program CNC machines, making precise adjustments in G-code or CAD/CAM to ensure peak performance. You inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, troubleshoot and maintain your machines, and follow strict safety and compliance standards. In this role, you combine advanced programming knowledge with hands-on machining, ensuring every component you touch meets the highest tolerances and contributes to mission-critical aerospace systems.

Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent attendance
Ability to identify non-conforming parts
Ability to make your own tools (example: chuck jaws or fixtures), specific to your jobs
Ability to form cooperative relations with your supervisor
Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to meet productivity requirements
Ability to communicate and counsel other operators in the department
Ability to set up and run horizontal and/or VTL lathes, programming is a plus!
