Med/Surg RN Job Details

Location: Dublin, Ohio (43016) – Greater Columbus area

Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation Hospital

Assignment Type: Travel Nursing

Start Date: December 15, 2025

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio or compact state

BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

Minimum 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience in Med/Surg or rehabilitation nursing

Experience with EPIC EMR systems

Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized patient care plans

Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)

Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees

Promote patient and employee safety by following hospital guidelines and clinical protocols

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient rehabilitation programs

Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission

Delegate tasks appropriately and provide direction and training to ancillary staff

Maintain effective communication with physicians, charge nurses, and healthcare team members

Foster a positive, efficient work environment through professionalism and teamwork
