Position: Assistant Product Developer

Objective:

Manage fabric sourcing, coordinate samples, support project planning, and collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure timely product development.

Job Responsibilities

Managing and assisting fabric sourcing activities

Assisting the PM with email management, meeting deadlines, and overseeing project planning and completion

Conducting research on new fabric concepts and silhouettes relevant to the department

Coordinating samples, strike-offs, and other design-related elements

Involvement in CAD work for embroideries, new silhouettes, and artworks

Organizing mill visits and coordinating meetings

Position Requirements

Experience in a previous fashion role (e.g., fabric sourcing, design, product development)

Highly organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Comprehensive understanding of fabric types and mills

Collaborative and a strong team player

Confident speaker and presenter

Punctual and a clear communicator

Competent in Adobe systems

Fluency in Tamil language would be an added advantage

Other Key Notes Regarding the Role:

This role is primarily within the children's wear department, so a keen eye for newness in kids wear and babywear is desirable.

The role involves working closely with the Product Manager on a daily basis, while also collaborating with the wider Product Team (including PMs and Assistants) and the general merchandising team within the department. An attractive remuneration package awaits the right candidate.
