Occupational Health Advisor - Newcastle

Role: Occupational Health AdvisorSalary: Salary: £36,000–£41,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)Hours: Full time (part time available)Location: Newcastle and surrounding areasHelene at Amber Mace is working with a forward thinking OH Provider in the North East looking for an OHA to join their team in the Newcastle area.

They are able to consider either an experienced OH Advisor with health surveillance experience, or an OH Nurse looking to train up in case management.They're looking for someone who is flexible, practical and confident across Occupational Health.

You'll be responsible for Newcastle, South Shields, Sunderland, Teesside and headquarters.Role: - Deliver case management/absence management- Conduct health surveillance (audiometry, spirometry, vision testing, etc.)- Undertake employment medicals / fitness-for-work assessments- Bloods, vaccinations, and immunisations- Provide workplace health advice & wellbeing promotion- Maintain accurate clinical recordsThis role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility and is happy to adapt to different client requirements.Requirements:- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN) or equivalent OHA experience- Minimum 2 years relevant OH experience, including health surveillance, employment medicals, or case management- Experience in bloods, vaccinations and immunisations- Flexible, multiskilled, and able to handle the full OH remit- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills- Full UK driving licence + access to own vehicleDesirable- OH qualification (or ambition to gain one)- Previous case management experienceIf this role sounds of interest to you, please give Helene a call on or email your up to date CV to
