Day shift: 3x12-Hour (08:00 - 20:00), with weekend coverage every third weekend.

Job Description

Seeking a qualified MRI Technologist with experience in radiology and cardiology specialties. The successful candidate will perform a variety of MRI scans while adhering to safety protocols and providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct MRI examinations on patients, including those for abdomen, pelvis, and other specified areas

Prepare and administer contrast media as required

Implement radiation safety protocols during imaging procedures

Maintain accurate patient records and manage charting using Epic

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and transportation

Assist with specialized imaging procedures and post-processing techniques

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience

Current New Jersey state license

ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT MR) and Radiography (ARRT R)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience in a teaching hospital setting is preferred

Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment is preferred
