Experiential Learning Academic Specialist

The Experiential Learning Academic Specialist in the Experiential Learning and Engagement (ELE) team plays a key role in shaping and enhancing the undergraduate students’ experience within the Fisher College of Business by designing, developing, and implementing high-impact meaningful experiential learning opportunities that enhances student learning and career readiness. Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including the Office of Global Business, Office of Career Management, Fisher Leadership Initiative, and various academic centers to develop and sustain meaningful experiential learning programming.
Partners with departments, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to design and deliver curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular experiences that enhance student learning and career readiness. Assess program effectiveness and contribute to planning that aligns with the mission and goals of the office and the college. Serves as a liaison to external organizations to define commitments, expectations, and project scopes that ensure quality experiences for both students and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4 years experience in developing, implementing, and/or coordinating student academic and/or engagement programs and/or events.
Experience with program assessment and using data to evaluate and improve learning outcomes and engagement. Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships with key stakeholders to create impactful learning experiences. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing reports, presentations, or proposals for varied audiences.
Ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders representing a wide range of backgrounds. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy of completed tasks.
Desired Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent experience. Experience working in academic environment and building and assessing learning initiatives.
Knowledge of and experience with university academic and student support systems, including advising, curriculum development, and student engagement initiatives.
Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas/Carmen), student data systems (e.g., Workday, SIS), and project management tools. Knowledge of University policies, procedures, resources and curriculum.
