Join our team as a Signage Installer and play a key role in shaping the visual experience across The Ohio State University’s campus. In this hands-on role, you’ll install and assist in producing signage for both academic and medical facilities, ensuring clarity and consistency for thousands of visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

Installing interior and selecting exterior signage across university facilities, including ADA-compliant signs, wayfinding systems, vinyl graphics, wall murals, and window films.

Operating advanced wide format printing equipment, vinyl plotters, router/cutters, laser cutters, and laminating equipment to produce signage.

Utilizing hand and power tools and safely work from step ladders to complete installation and production tasks.

Collaborating with customers to ensure accurate, high-quality installations that meet project specifications and university standards.

Working independently and making sound decisions with minimal supervision.

Meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality standards are central to this position—perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands. You should also be comfortable working on ladders.

Required Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent education/experience.

Valid Ohio driver’s license and clean driving record.

Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $ 18.37 - $ 23.99. The actual rate paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
