Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent inpatient acute care experience for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care hospital setting with coverage of inpatient acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) units
Standard schedule is 08:00 to 16:30
Rotating 36/48 hour weekly schedule; one week at 36 hours, the next at 48 hours
Bi-weekly orientation is provided
No local candidates considered; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Assignment is 13 weeks in length
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in acute care and skilled nursing facility settings
Orientation is provided every other week
Travel pairs are not permitted except under special circumstances
Assignment confirmation must be uploaded within 24 hours of accepting an offer
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience in an acute care setting required
Active KY or compact state PT license required (license required if applicable)
Current BLS certification from AHA required
Copy of driver's license and two professional references required for consideration
No gaps in work history allowed
