Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
• Lead end-to-end optimization of automotive component production lines—interior, exterior, stamping, and assembly—by analyzing ERP/MES data, system requirements, cycle times, and bottlenecks to improve throughput and operational efficiency.
• Redesign, configure, and maintain ERP production modules, including master data structures, BOM and routing optimization, production version management, and cost-tracking logic for raw-material-to-finished-goods conversion.
• Develop, implement, and sustain integrated MES workflows, system logic, and dispatching rules to enable real-time visibility into machine run status, downtime, scrap, yield, takt-time deviations, and operator performance.
• Drive data-driven process improvement initiatives using OEE, SPC, Cp/Cpk analysis, and production-trend analytics to reduce scrap, enhance process stability, and strengthen production predictability.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to address recurring bottlenecks through PLC logic enhancements, material-flow redesign, sequence optimization, and automated inspection integration.
• Manage automation-improvement projects and support predictive-monitoring and preventive-maintenance data integration within MES to minimize equipment failures and unplanned downtime.
• Provide enterprise-level technical solutions and support across departments, including ERP/MES enhancement, Oracle integration, system architecture upgrades, NetWeaver/SOA communication improvements, and security configuration.
• Contribute to long-term production IT and automation strategy, ensuring scalability, system standardization, and technology readiness for future OEM program launches and capacity expansion.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in Production Optimization Engineering for automotive parts manufacturing.
