Responsibilities:
• You will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including answering employee questions, conducting new hire and benefits orientation, open enrollment, weekly payroll, and overall enforcement of company policies and procedures
• You will process payroll weekly by calculating pay and maintaining payroll records as well as management of bonuses (safety, performance, etc.) within allocated business unit(s)
• You will travel between all FST locations and will be allocated to support one or more business units
• This position will work closely with FST leadership to support disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, morale, and training and development
• You will ensure performance reviews are completed for their assigned business unit(s)
• You will handle employment-related inquiries, attend employee disciplinary meetings and terminations, and handle unemployment claims
• You will be responsible for overseeing our temporary agencies and hiring for their assigned business units and building and maintaining outside partnerships (example Universities) that can supply a pipeline of candidates or interns
• You will maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance
• Required to maintain confidentiality at all times, and provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management
• You will coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs, and create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, and company policies
• You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years' experience in the human resource field or applicable experience in logistics
• Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Kronos)
• Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field
• Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong presentation skills
• Previous training experience preferred
