Pay Rate: $12.40- $14.40 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift and Night shift
Day shift: $12.40 - $13.40
Night shift: $13.40 - $14.40
Job Summary
The Production Team Member is responsible for performing repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce automotive parts. This position requires attention to detail, following standardized procedures, and working as part of a team to ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble automotive parts by following standardized work instructions (SWI) and blueprints.
Position and align components accurately according to assembly requirements.
Fasten or secure parts using bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
Operate or assist machines performing assembly operations such as cutting, molding, or fastening.
Work at different production stations as needed to meet production goals.
Understand and adhere to all customer quality specifications and company standards.
Identify and separate defective parts or materials.
Assist with daily and weekly equipment maintenance as scheduled by the supervisor or preventive maintenance plan.
Participate in team meetings, 5S, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems to the team leader or supervisor.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions.
Participate in end-of-shift cleanup (last five minutes of each shift).
Job Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
One to three months of related experience or training preferred.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
Working Conditions:
Work performed in a manufacturing/production environment.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands for assembly tasks.
