We have an immediate opening for a full time entry-level Manufacturing Technician (Kitchen Assistant), (Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm). The Manufacturing Technician (Kitchen Assistant) is responsible for:
Cleaning-out tube sets after media is poured
Replacing gaskets, seals, and fittings on reactors as needed
Cleaning all surfaces of the kitchen area with appropriate cleaners on a regular basis
Cleaning-up spills, boil-overs, and other messes as needed
Assisting cooks with reactor cycle washes as needed
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED. College courses in biology, chemistry and physics are a plus. Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds.
