08/2026The Lathrop R-II School District is seeking certified applicants for a 6th and 7th Grade Social Studies Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. Qualified candidates will be responsible for planning lessons, carrying out effective instruction, evaluating student progress, and maintaining classroom management to ensure student engagement and learning. The teaching assignment is 4 sections of 6th grade social studies and 2 sections of 7th grade social studies. The Lathrop R-II School District is a rural K-12 school district, in Lathrop, MO, with competitive salary and benefits. 2026 base salary is expected to be $44,000. Lathrop R-II School District is on a 4 day school week (Tuesday through Friday). One Monday per month the certified staff meets for professional development.
