Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks.

$750 referral bonus available.\n\n Opportunity:\n RN - Stepdown\n\n Job Details:\n • Work night shifts in the Cardiac Med Intermediate Care Unit\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week\n• Weekend hours as needed with standard expectation of every other full weekend\n• Work with 14-bed unit maintaining patient ratios of 1:3-4\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS\n• Minimum 1+ years of nursing experience required\n• Must have EPIC EMR experience\n• Previous stepdown experience required\n• Float requirements as customary within scope\n• Work with equipment including lines, chest tubes, and vaso drips\n• Dress code requires black scrubs\n• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)\n• Care for heart, lung, and vascular patients including progressive level patients from Cardiology, stepdown from OR & ICU, sepsis, pneumonia, and oncology patients\n• Provide comprehensive nursing care including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and central line care\n• Document patient care services and maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare team members\n• Supervise and delegate duties to unlicensed assistive personnel and ancillary staff\n\n Facility:\n This 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center offers comprehensive healthcare services with specialized certifications and designations.

The facility holds Comprehensive Cardiac Center Certification from The Joint Commission's Accreditation and Certification program, Primary Stroke Center Certification with Gold Seal of Approval, and Missouri Level II Stroke Center and Level I STEMI Center designations.
