Your new role

As our new Mechanical Engineering Intern, your overall objective will be to support development of mechanical concepts and solutions to enable current and future aseptic core production equipment, including filling lines to live up to even higher standards.

Apart from that, you will be having various tasks within:

· Idea generation

· Design of mechanical solutions

· 2D and 3D modelling in CAD

· Testing and coordination

· Prototyping including 3D printing

· Support projects as well as coordinate and manage projects together with the team

Your tasks will be very varied and include idea generation, design of mechanical solutions, testing, and coordination. You can rely on your team and our mechanical and aseptic specialists to support you. The aseptic environment limits selection of materials and puts high requirements for external form suitable for cleanability, therefore we are focused on innovation.

Your skills and qualifications

· You are currently enrolled in an accredited higher educational degree within Mechanical engineering.

· Experience with one of the following programs: CATIA, Creo or SolidWorks.

· Experience with prototyping, 3D printing, and other manufacturing processes is considered a strong advantage.

· Full proficiency in English.

To succeed in this role, you should have an analytical and innovative mindset with a strong interest in complex technical challenges. You should be passionate about innovation and developing new, creative and complex mechanical solutions. Furthermore, you are a team player, who is outgoing and eager to search for opportunities in partnerships with stakeholders.

When navigating among global multiple stakeholder interests, your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success. Furthermore, you see yourself as being highly motivated, can work in a fast-paced international environment.

Your new department

You will be a part of the Mechanical Engineering Team in Aseptic Manufacturing, Product Supply. Your working place will be in Lyngby (main office).

The team’s mission is to minimize or eliminate human interaction with our injectable products through optimization, – across our different production sites around the world (Denmark, China, Brazil, France, and the US). You will collaborate with academics, technicians, and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines and across different countries. We are a very international department with experience ranging from students to highly experienced subject matter experts.
