In this role, you will be responsible for…. What you'll be doing
Managing the complete collections cycle for assigned accounts, from initial outreach through resolution or escalation
Crafting professional, clear email communications to customers regarding past due balances, payment plans, and account status
Maintaining detailed account notes documenting all customer interactions, commitments, and next action plans with specific follow-up dates
Making independent judgment calls on when to escalate complex disputes, payment issues, or at-risk accounts to management
Reviewing signed contracts for accuracy and identifying discrepancies that may impact billing inquiries
Proactively monitoring aging reports and completing weekly reviews of delinquent accounts to prioritize collection efforts
Responding to customer inquiries in Service Cloud with empathy and professionalism while protecting company interests
Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Billing teams to resolve billing issues and prevent future disputes
Contributing to process improvements and assisting with special projects as needed Qualifications Required:
2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based business
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet collection targets
Excellent written communication skills with experience crafting professional, persuasive customer emails
Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate, comprehensive account documentation
Sound judgment in escalating issues appropriately—knowing when to persist and when to elevate
Experience reviewing contracts and resolving billing disputes
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for analysis and reporting
Experience with payment processing platforms or billing systems
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information Nice to have:
