Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist to serve students in a K-12 school environment located in Columbus, OH. This assignment runs from the end of September through Winter break, ending December 19, 2025. The role is designed to provide support 3-5 days per week, as needed, primarily covering leave absences.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students from preschool through middle school, addressing sensory, motor, and functional challenges
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation to staff and families
Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Ohio or eligibility for licensure
Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff
Ability to manage a flexible schedule covering multiple grade levels
