ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.Perform nursing assessments for various patient types: Medical, Surgical, Obstetrical, Newborn, Pediatric, ER, Swing Bed, and Telemetry/Cardiac.Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and promptly per physician orders and policy.Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.Implement infection control measures, including isolation protocols and PPE usage.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain patient safety standards.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide excellent customer service.

QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Current RN or LPN license in the state of Nebraska.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.ACLS preferred; TNCC required within two years of employment.PALS and NRP certifications preferred.Valid driver’s license.Experience in rural healthcare and electronic health records preferred.

Physical RequirementsAbility to lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently and assist with lifting up to 300 lbs occasionally.Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
