Your Role
Champion a new model of regional precinct leadership – where on-the-ground decision-making meets strategic integration, and transport solutions are shaped by community priorities, not imposed from above.
Strategic Precinct Leadership
Lead integrated transport planning and delivery across key regional precincts
Align programs, investment, and infrastructure with network priorities and community needs
Act as senior precinct decision-maker, removing barriers and driving accountability
Champion performance, integration, and innovation across complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
Program & Investment Leadership
Oversee integrated transport solutions including mode-based programs, safety initiatives, network optimization, and asset uplift
Manage detailed assessment and project lifecycles from identification through delivery
Lead strategic management of regional road networks in partnership with councils
Prioritize interventions that enhance safety, support freight and passenger movement, and deliver sustainable outcomes
Partnership & Engagement Excellence
Serve as Transport's primary regional precinct lead with local government, communities, and stakeholders
Build trusted relationships that identify local priorities and respond to emerging opportunities
Lead consistent, inclusive consultation practices across regions
Foster collaboration across the Transport Cluster to enable seamless end-to-end journey outcomes
Team & Collaboration
Establish and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams using embedded and matrix models
Foster integration and innovation across planning, delivery, and engagement functions
Partner with senior leaders across transport modes, services, and networks
Drive alignment of safety programs, asset initiatives, and network optimization with strategic priorities

Essential
Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder transport or infrastructure programs
Track record building strategic partnerships with local government and regional communities
Experience managing integrated planning and delivery across diverse teams and functions
Demonstrated ability influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-organizational collaboration
