Schedule: 2nd Shift, 8-hour shifts (weekday and weekend rotation)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance
Clearance: Candidates subject to background and credit investigation; expedited ICE clearance process in place
Travel Experience: Not required
Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area
Experience: Minimum 5 years clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable role
License: Current and active California LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license (required prior to start)
Other: Valid driver’s license preferred
Minimum Age: 18+
Certifications
LPC / LCSW (Required)
BLS (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments for inmates
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations
Provide ongoing counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention as needed
Document all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EMR
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and protected health information
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs and ensure continuity of care
