ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Raw Material Handler receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to control and review.
Supporting the manager, the Raw Material Handler provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and procurement department activities.
Maintains files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders, and other related documentation.
Maintains information on computer systems.
Assists in expediting orders.
May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates.
May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepares standard requests for quotation.
Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions, and invoice discrepancies.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, material planning, and procurement.
Ability to speak at a good level of English.
Ability in Excel.
Preferred experience in ERP (BPCS and SAP preferred).
Ability to prepare and manage data and documents.
Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
