Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.

Analyze production variances, cost of goods sold, and profitability reports.

Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, and cycle count procedures.

Prepare detailed cost analysis for management decision-making.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data.

Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Participate in month-end and year-end close activities related to inventory and COGS.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3-5 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for presenting cost analysis.

Advanced Excel skills, including VBA for process automation or complex modeling.

Demonstrated experience with ERP system implementations or significant module upgrades (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Cost Management).
