Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.

Analyze production costs, overheads, and inventory valuations.

Investigate and report on variances between actual and standard costs.

Manage and reconcile inventory accounts, including work-in-process and finished goods.

Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses for management decision-making.

Assist in the preparation of manufacturing budgets and cost forecasts.

Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methodologies.

Experience with bill of materials (BOMs), routings, and production processes.

Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights to management.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Advanced SQL or database query skills for data extraction and analysis.
