Maintenance Technician Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.

Execute emergency repairs to minimize downtime and production interruptions.

Install, calibrate, and upgrade new machinery and production lines.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and work orders.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including LOTO procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Experience with industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.

Proficiency in performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure machine uptime.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Relevant technical certification or associate's degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Qualifications

Advanced PLC programming or troubleshooting experience

Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software

HVAC systems troubleshooting and repair experience
