Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.

Perform quality control checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or programming.

Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper material handling.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Adjust machine settings and tooling offsets to optimize production and part accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.

Skilled in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machinery.

Adept at using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality inspection.

Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).

Experience operating and programming multi-axis (4-axis, 5-axis) CNC machines.

Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator).
