Director of Marketing Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related area (Master's preferred)

8-10+ years of advanced marketing leadership within tourism, attractions, hospitality, or entertainment sectors

Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategies that boost revenue and visitor volume

Strong command of digital marketing, content development, social media, and public relations

Experience overseeing sizeable budgets with focus on ROI and measurable results

Proven track record in building, coaching, and managing diverse, high-performing teams

Director of Marketing Responsibilities

Partner with senior leadership to support financial goals, attendance growth, and long-term strategic plans

Execute cross-channel campaigns spanning advertising, media, partnerships, digital platforms, and communications

Lead digital marketing initiatives including search optimization, email strategy, paid media, and website performance

Work closely with programming and events teams to deliver standout initiatives that enhance engagement and drive traffic
