Job Title: Data & AI Integration Developer

Location: Columbus, OH Onsite (Hybrid flexibility based on business needs)

Position Overview

The Data & AI Integration Developer leads the full lifecycle of enterprise data—from SQL database performance and security to developing integrations into Azure and GCP, along with AI and machine learning enablement. This hybrid role combines responsibilities of SQL Server DBA, full-stack developer, and AI/cloud integration engineer.

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in T-SQL, .NET/C#, automation, DevOps practices, and applied AI/ML services.

Key Responsibilities

Database & Performance

Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments

Develop and tune T-SQL stored procedures, triggers, and functions

Plan, implement, and validate backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies

Manage security, user access, compliance, and data masking AI & Machine Learning

Integrate enterprise data with Azure AI Services & Google Vertex AI

Collaborate with data scientists on ML data preparation

Develop and refine prompts for generative AI / LLMs

Automate model deployment and monitoring using PowerShell and scripting tools Cloud & Integrations

Engineer and monitor data pipelines connecting on-prem systems to Azure & GCP

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment workflows

Support development teams with database interaction code (C#, .NET)

Build/test integrations with third-party and cloud-native APIs Testing & Documentation

Create and execute unit/integration test plans

Troubleshoot defects and support production environments

Produce and maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and architecture records

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience as:

SQL Server DBA OR

Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Advanced proficiency in:

T-SQL and database development

PowerShell automation

Cloud data integrations (Azure and/or GCP)

Hands-on experience with AI/ML platform integration

Practical prompt engineering experience

Strong software testing and problem-solving skills

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar ML frameworks

Working knowledge of Python or Java Experience with:

High Availability SQL (AlwaysOn, clustering)

SSIS or Azure Data Factory

Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud certifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field #ZR
