Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization and reporting, with a focus on creating interactive dashboards and reports. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

10+ years Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting

Strong understanding of SQL and the ability to write complex queries

Proficiency in data modeling concepts

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization best practices

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Problem-solving and analytical skills

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, IT, or Data Science is required

Experience with performance optimization of dashboards and reports

Knowledge of data security measures to protect sensitive information

Experience in creating technical designs, test cases, and user guides

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Server to visualize data and present trends

Connect to various data sources, prepare data for use, and perform data modeling within Tableau

Develop calculated fields and formulas to meet specific business needs

Work with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and other developers, to define requirements and deliver solutions

Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, dashboards, or reports, and provide ongoing support to users

Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information

Create technical designs, test cases, user guides, and maintain/enhance existing dashboards

Perform unit testing to verify data accuracy and functionality on development and quality assurance sites
