Anticipated Long Term Sub - Social Worker, School Counselor

Geneseo Central School is seeking a long-term substitute (LTS) Social Worker starting January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides case management and coordination for students and families requiring multiple resources

Attends CSE meetings to share information on new referrals and the students that are seen on a regular basis

Provides special education students individual and group counseling as per their IEP goals

Provides consultation to classroom teachers on effective management of students on the counseling caseload

Provides crisis counseling as needed

Assesses student mental health concerns and refers to outside agencies
