We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI) as a Research Associate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing research projects, with duties including (but not limited to) project administration, progress monitoring, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and coordination across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist research teams and projects to achieve defined objectives and deliver impactful outcomes.
Conceive and develop novel research ideas to push the frontiers of biotechnology and bioprocesses.
Assist RF on project progress, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time.
Engage, manage, and liaise with stakeholders, including funding agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators.
Work as a team with graduate students, while contributing to grant proposal preparation and research publications.
Job Requirements:
Master degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields
Prior experience in biotechnology or bioprocesses related work will be preferred.
Project management and data analytic skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English for research work purposes and engagement with stakeholders, including funding agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators.
