Job Title: Lead Project Controller

What you’ll be doing:

Mentor and coach junior members of the Project Controls team and Engineering Managers

You will be part of a Project team responsible for creating project plans and control baselines as well as record, verify and report on project progress

Leading the collation of programme performance metrics from various data sources to report against cost, schedule, milestone delivery, and other key performance indicators

Performing trend analysis of programme KPIs and deep dive activity to enrich programme performance information

Presenting programme performance data and analysis to the Senior Project Manager or Control Account Manager, and advising root cause analysis and recommended actions to correct programme performance issues

Working with the Project Manager to manage cost, schedule, and quality with associated data and metrics where required

Coordinating the monthly EAC (Estimate at Complete) and resource profiling processes

Supporting the management of risk and opportunity activity where required

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Productive team member with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at various levels

Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Project Control policies, processes, procedures and systems.

Working knowledge of industry Project Controls toolsets e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, Predict

Experience with Intermediate Risk and Opportunity Management

Desirable:

Practical application of business information toolsets/data analytics e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI

Experience/knowledge in Baseline Control, Cost Estimating/Engineering, Resource Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Analysis or Financial Management within project environments

Previous experience leading or mentoring more junior members of a Project Controls team

Project Management qualification/certification
