Indirect / MRO Buyer

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Indirect / MRO Buyer to manage and optimize purchasing activities across our plants in the Midlands. If you have a strong background in procurement within a manufacturing environment and enjoy negotiating, building supplier relationships, and driving savings — this role is for you!

Your Main Responsibilities

Working closely with our Plant and Purchasing teams, you will:

Develop and implement the supply strategy for indirect purchases (MRO, services, consumables)

Lead RFQs, contract negotiations and supplier selections

Deliver cost savings and support continuous improvement initiatives

Monitor supplier performance, manage non-conformities, and ensure process compliance

Benchmark purchasing conditions and identify opportunities for optimization

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across multiple sites

Your Profile

Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent professional experience

Several years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment (automotive a plus but not essential)

Strong skills in negotiation, supplier management, and contract handling

Knowledge of procurement processes (RFQ, sourcing, order-to-pay)

Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Proactive, results-driven, and well-organized

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
