The opportunity

As a member of EY Accounting Compliance and Reporting team, you’ll actively participate in accounting and business tax compliance engagements, including data gathering, bookkeeping, tax returns preparation, reconciliations, statutory and management reporting, etc. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll escalate issues as appropriate. You will be in charge of self-review to make sure that a draft work product of a high quality is delivered to the next-level reviewer. You will actively establish internal and external relationships in motivating and exciting environment.

Your key responsibilities: client responsibilities

Participate in accounting, tax and reporting engagements for clients

Assist in preparing accounting records, returns, reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support to others, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress

Build strong internal and external relationships.

Your people responsibilities

Enthusiastically contribute to people initiatives

In charge of own professional development in the area of accounting, payroll and taxation

Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

What we look for: skills and attributes for success

Graduate degree in economy (finance or accounting)

Sound knowledge of accounting standards and business tax laws

Relevant working experience is considered as an advantage

Fluent in Macedonian and English

Computer literacy (MS Office), especially Excel

Analytical skills, attention to details

Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
