Job Description
Join a high-uptime, safety-first operation as a Diesel Mechanic supporting a mixed fleet of farm/feedlot and support equipment. You’ll handle diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems—keeping equipment in service and minimizing downtime. Field service is local only, with no overnights.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines on feed trucks, tractors, loaders, skid steers, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems; perform transmission and brake service
• Use diagnostic software/tools; verify repairs with post-service checks
• Perform welding/fabrication as needed for repairs or modifications
• Maintain accurate service records and a clean, organized shop; respond to local field calls
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Proven experience as a diesel or agricultural mechanic in a farm/feedlot or commercial setting
• Strong knowledge of diesel powertrains, hydraulics, and electrical systems; proficient with diagnostic tools
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and technical documents; solid time management and organization
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in shop/field conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must pass a drug test and background check

Pay Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this position is $52,000–$64,480 annually (equivalent to $25–$31/hr), excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
