Responsible for overseeing day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring efficient coordination between drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams. Lead and support staff to achieve performance goals, maintain high service levels, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing driver performance, scheduling, and communication using dispatch and tracking systems (TMS, Samsara).

Monitoring trailer and equipment availability to support delivery schedules.

Reviewing KPIs, identifying process improvements, and implementing standardized procedures.

Handling driver and customer issues promptly to maintain service quality.

Coordinating with planning, warehouse, and management teams to align labor, resources, and delivery needs.

Ensuring all staff complete required training and follow safety and reporting procedures.

Overseeing incident investigations, damage claims, and performance reporting for management review.

Focused on operational efficiency, team leadership, and customer satisfaction to ensure seamless transportation execution.

What You Will Bring

3-5 years supervisory experience

Transportation industry experience would be a strong asset

Forklift Certification or verifiable experience

Forklift Trainer Certification would be an asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook
