Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU night shift assignment in a Level 1 Trauma setting in Ohio, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Job Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital,

• Level 1 Trauma environment with telemetry and ventilator patient care,

• Night shifts available: two 12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30) and two 8-hour shifts (23:00-07:30) per week,

• Required to work 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule,

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in Ohio or compact state license required at time of consideration,

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required,

• Experience in Level 1 Trauma setting necessary,

• Ability to monitor telemetry and manage ventilated patients required,

• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program,

• Two professional references required, including one from a supervisor or manager,

• Must not be a current employee of any Ohio State University hospital location,

• Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months,

Additional Information

• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signing as part of onboarding,

• Responsibilities include post-anesthesia recovery care and management of high-acuity patients,

• Locals are accepted for this position at the same rate,

• Time off requests must be submitted with the initial application,
