Travel RN - PACU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU night shift position requiring OH or compact licensure, trauma, and telemetry skills.

Job Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital,

• Level 1 trauma setting,

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30,

• Tele and vent experience required,

• Weekend shifts required: 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required at submission,

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications,

• Level 1 trauma experience required,

• Telemetry and ventilator skills required,

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required,

• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include recovery and monitoring of postoperative patients in a trauma PACU environment,

• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing,

• Locals are accepted at the same rate,

• Time-off requests must be included at the time of submission,

• Former employees eligible if separated for 6 months or more; current employees are ineligible,
