Export and Byproduct Sales Manager

Role Overview
We're looking for a results-driven sales leader to spearhead international growth and maximize profitability through strategic partnerships. In this role, you'll identify and secure global export opportunities, strengthen relationships with key partners, and develop strategies to optimize sales of primary products and byproducts. Success requires strong market insight, negotiation expertise, and the ability to navigate complex global trade environments.
What You'll Do
Drive revenue and margin growth by negotiating and executing agreements with major international customers.
Build new relationships with export clients while expanding existing partnerships within national accounts.
Develop and maintain strong account management practices through consistent communication and advocacy.
Lead strategic initiatives to increase global demand and awareness of export capabilities.
Monitor industry trends and leverage insights to inform pricing, positioning, and business development strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams-including Sales, Scheduling, FSQA, Shipping, and Finance-to ensure seamless execution of export operations.
Partner with AR to manage invoicing and collections for international accounts.
Create and implement customer-specific business plans to ensure long-term profitability and performance.
Represent the company at trade shows and customer meetings as needed.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in global sales or strategic account management.
Proven ability to negotiate and close complex deals in a cross-functional environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in international trade or export sales preferred.
Solid understanding of financial principles to support sound business decisions.
Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles and commercially focused positions.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience in PROTEIN sales
Travel
Occasional travel (up to 25%) for trade shows, client visits, and company meetings.
Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $80,000 - $115,000
