Position Overview

The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. This role is critical in ensuring the protection of lives and property through effective fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.

Perform maintenance and repair work on existing fire alarm systems.

Document inspection and maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding fire alarm system operations and safety procedures.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with malfunctioning fire alarm systems.Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fire alarm systems preferred.

Proven experience as a fire alarm technician or similar role.

Knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and regulations.
