Job Description

The CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer - Medical Device Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional inspection of medical device components.

Apply advanced metrology principles to validate part geometry and ensure compliance with specifications.

Utilize OPG systems for optical inspection and measurement.

Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection procedures, and documentation.

Conduct supplier quality audits, manage non-conformance reports, and drive corrective actions.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and customer requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal CMM Programmer/ Quality Engineer - Medical Device Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in CMM programming (PC-DMIS or similar software preferred).

Strong knowledge of metrology and optical measurement systems (OPG experience required).

Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes and regulatory standards.

Experience in supplier quality management, including audits and corrective actions.

Proficient in GD&T and dimensional inspection principles.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
