AriensCo is excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Safety Manager to lead our commitment to workplace safety at manufacturing site in Fayetteville, TN!
In this pivotal role, you'll design, implement, and maintain robust safety programs that not only ensure compliance but also minimize risk and inspire a strong culture of safety throughout the organization. THE DAY TO DAY...
Leadership & Culture
Inspire and engage teams to consistently follow health and safety practices
Set and communicate a compelling safety vision that fosters a strong safety-first culture
Create, lead, and continuously improve the AriensCo Safety Management System
Champion and embed a behavioral-based safety approach across all operations
Build and mentor high-performing safety teams focused on continuous improvement
Promote employee involvement through safety committees, recognition programs, and feedback initiatives
Influence and educate teams on the importance of 6S and ergonomic awareness
Compliance & Program Management
Own, maintain, and improve the plant safety metrics
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
Plan and execute safety policies and procedures to ensure full compliance
Manage and submit the OSHA 300 log annually
Order and manage safety supplies and equipment inventory
Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and emergency response coordination
Training & Communication
Maintain full regulatory compliance in all aspects of the plant training program
Design and deliver engaging safety training for all employees, including onboarding and refresher courses
Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance on safety initiatives and best practices
Facilitate training on acute and ergonomic injury prevention, 6S principles, and return-to-work protocols
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
Develop and lead the implementation of a safety program built in the spirit of daily continuous improvement
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions
Perform safety observations and inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify and correct hazards
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and development of short- and long-term countermeasures
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify safety improvement opportunities
Maintain accurate safety records, metrics, and reports; present findings to site leadership
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
Bachelor's degree required (preferably in environmental health and safety)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety leadership, Safety Team involvement, or Safety Training
Manufacturing experience is a plus
OSHA VPP knowledge and experience preferred
A familiarity with lean manufacturing environments preferred
A demonstrated positive impact in leading improvements with Safety programs
Moderate to Advanced Computer Skills with Microsoft Office and various other software products
