Retail industry leader seeking a Store Operations Specialist serves as a key liaison between field teams, IT/technical support, and cross-functional business partners. This role delivers high-quality support to both stores and the home office, ensuring operational processes are executed with efficiency, accuracy, and urgency. The Specialist plays an integral part in supporting technology stability, enabling clear communication, and driving continuous improvement across store operations.
Responsibilities
Partner with the manager and cross-functional teams—including Store Support, STS/ATS, Visual, and Marketing—to align on strategies that enable new business concepts and technology initiatives in stores.
Monitor the performance of store technologies, proactively identify risks, and communicate timely resolutions.
Manage the Technology inbox by troubleshooting or facilitating solutions with deep knowledge of store operating procedures, hardware, and software capabilities.
Maintain strong relationships with field leaders and internal partners, collecting feedback and championing improvements that enhance store operations.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback to evaluate and refine cash-wrap line management strategies.
Execute key workstreams and support the creation and rollout of project plans, timelines, communications, and hindsight summaries.
Conduct competitive and industry research, documenting insights and trendsetting practices to support future planning.
Provide coaching and constructive feedback to peers, project teams, and business partners to strengthen collaboration and performance.
Produce clear and timely store communication, including visual and promotional updates, and manage content posting within the store intranet platform (Zipline).
Support the setup and maintenance of promotional activities in the promotional system.
Qualifications & Experience
2–4 years of relevant experience supporting projects or working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly, lead through change, and manage ambiguity with confidence and focus.
Strong organizational, written, verbal, and decision-making skills.
Proven success working with cross-functional teams and articulating a clear point of view.
Ability to analyze complex situations and execute rapid, effective solutions.
Capable of managing multiple priorities, working independently, and delivering under tight timelines.
Demonstrated situational leadership and sound judgment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
