Fiber Optic Splicer - Ashburn, VA

Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add multiple Fiber Optic Splicers to the team in Ashburn, VA. Please see below for full details-

Job Notes:

-- 4+ week contract / extensions possible but not guaranteed

-- Note: All hires will work 12 hours days with 6-day weeks.

-- Onsite in Ashburn, VA

-- Start date = mid-December

-- Drug & Background required.

Pay Rate = $35 per hour

Shifts: 12 hours on / 12 hours off – 6 days per week

Project: Participating in growing and maintaining a major data center.

Scope & Requirements:

High-density ribbon splicing (12-strand; 16-strand experience is a plus)

Installation, dressing, and securing of high-count fiber trunks

Frame and rack splicing

EXFO OTDR and OLTS testing

High-volume labeling and documentation
