Travel RN - Rehab - In Patient

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med Surg/Rehab RN for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Ohio with 2 years of relevant experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting,

• Medical-surgical and rehabilitation patient populations,

• Typical patient ratio is 1:5,

• Schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00AM to 7:00PM,

• Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed,

• Weekend shifts scheduled as required per hospital needs,

• Use of Epic electronic medical record system,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state must be in hand,

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required,

• Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg or Rehab RN experience,

• Epic charting experience required,

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program,

• Two professional references are required, including one from a manager, director, or formal leader,

• Former employees eligible if separated for at least 6 months; current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are not eligible,

• First-time travelers will be considered,

Additional Information

• Rotating holiday shifts are required,

• Responsibilities include delivering nursing care to rehab and Med-Surg patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining documentation in Epic,

• All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after booking,

• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers,

• Time-off requests must be submitted with the application,
