Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Ohio, requiring a compact or OH RN license and 2 years of MS/Tele experience.

Job Details

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting,

• Night shifts scheduled as 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,

• Cares for a patient ratio of 1:4,

• Uses Epic EMR with prior experience required,

• Locals are accepted at the same rate,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand,

• Two years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required,

• BLS and IV certification required,

• Proficiency in IV starts, patient monitoring, lab collection, medication administration, and patient education,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required,

• Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor or manager,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include IV starts, administering medications, patient monitoring, conducting lab work, and providing patient education,

• Role requires prompt completion of Ohio fingerprinting process for credentialing,

• Former employees eligible if separated from the facility for at least six months; current employees of any Ohio State University hospital are not eligible,
